Iridology Consultations

Iridology is a screening tool used in natural medicine to help identify pathological, structural, functional and emotional disturbances in the body. It can help to highlight inflammation and congestion within areas of the body, and pinpoint specific organs or tissues that might be negatively affected by lifestyle, diet, or disease processes. 

The make up of the iris, the fibre density and texture, the separation of iris fibres and other distinctive signs such as lucunae, crypts, spots, clouding, and various coloured washes over the iris can all be analysed to help put a health picture together. 

As a naturopath and nutritionist, I use iridology as a tool to help put together a detail picture about a person and their health. While many iris signs can be current for the individual, others can be a representation of genetic traits, passed down from generations ago. 

I use a specialised iridology camera which will capture a close up still of the iris. This picture can then be further analysed and explained during the consultation.

I believe it is best to combine an iridology consultation with a naturopathic consultation.

Comprehensive Naturopathic Plus Iridology Consultations

This consultation combines both a naturopathic and nutritional consultation with an iridology consultation. Lasting 1.5 hours for an initial, or 45 minutes for a follow up.

I take a holistic approach when investigating your health- this means I look at you and your life as a whole. This approach allows us to take the big picture into consideration and help identify exactly what is happening for you, why it is happening and what to do about it. In this way, I help you to identify, understand and address the cause. 

In a naturopathic consultation we will talk through your health story- discussing your history in detail, and I will ask a wide range of questions relating to the information you share with me. We will discuss many of the systems in your body, your lifestyle, diet and emotional state. We may discuss topics that seem irrelevant however, there will often be an underlying link that I will be exploring. This will give us detailed information about your health and how to improve it.

In addition I may also look at physical signs such as your tongue, nails, skin and blood pressure. I will also use iridology as a tool to help put together a very detailed picture. I use a specialised iridology camera which will capture a close up still of the iris. This picture can then be further analysed and explained during the consultation.

If you have had any blood testing done in the past 12 months I would encourage you to gain copies of these and bring them along to your initial consultation. A naturopathic understanding of medical blood testing often differs a lot from what your doctor may have shared with you. Medical testing is often used to gain better insight into your health and I may suggest you get certain tests completed where appropriate. These options will all be discussed during your consultation.
